Early Dismissal - School will be dismissed early on Wednesday, February 4th due to Parent-Teacher Conferences being held from 1pm-7pm. Class periods will be shortened & will run as follows. A-Lunch Schedule 1st period: 8:30-8:56 2nd period: 9:00-9:26 3rd period: 9:30-9:56 4th period: 10:00-10:26 5th period: 10:30-10:56 6th period: 11:00-11:26 LUNCH: 11:26-11:56 7th period: 11:59-12:25 12:25 Dismissal Bell B-Lunch Schedule 1st period: 8:30-8:56 2nd period: 9:00-9:26 3rd period: 9:30-9:56 4th period: 10:00-10:26 5th period: 10:30-10:56 6th period: 11:00-11:26 7th period: 11:30-11:56 LUNCH (optional): 11:56-12:25 12:25 Dismissal Bell --Buses will arrive at the Bus Loading Zone at approximately 12:26. --Career and Technology Center students are expected to follow this schedule. NOTE: Students who go to Tech Center for only 1 hour, should NOT go to the Tech Center, and instead report to the Theater for that 1 period. Students who go to the Tech Center for 2 hours, should go to the Tech Center for those 2 periods.
Track & Field Meeting Grades 7-12: For those interested in participating this season, there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, February 4, at 8:10 am in the North gym. If you are unable to make it, see Mr. Bakalar. The season information will be posted on the bulletin board in the North Hallway over the next couple of weeks. All athletes need a physical and must be registered before beginning practice. The start dates for grades 9-12 are February 23, and for grades 7-8, March 16. Grades 7-8, if registered, are welcome to practice with 9-12.
7-12th graders - The 2026 Match-O-Matics survey is currently available on Canvas. Please complete the survey by Thursday, February 5th if you want to participate! Results will be available for purchase February 11th and 12th for just $2. Match-O-Matics is a Valentine's Day fundraiser for Student Council. This annual matchmaker activity is simple & fun - just answer the questions about your preferences to find your perfect match!
VCHS Students & Staff: The Sky Hi-Liner Balloon Store (room 205) is selling Valentine foil balloons for $3! Stop by room 205 to order (please bring exact cash amount, no coins). Balloons come with a note card. Only 50 balloons are available, so don't wait! Place Orders: February 2nd - 6th before school, after school, and periods 1, 5, & 7. Pick up orders: February 11th (periods 1, 5, 6, & 7) and February 12th (periods 1, 5, & 6). Come early to get your choice of balloons. For questions, see Mrs. Laza or Mrs. Bennett Zaun.
