Christmas Candy Hunt The student council will be hiding Christmas candy around the school this Friday for everyone to find and keep. There will also be 5 Valley City ornaments hidden as well. If you find one of the 5 ornaments, you can turn it in for a bigger prize.
The Hi-Liner Crossing is counting down the days to break with a sale each day! Check out the schedule on the chalkboard outside the store. A few upcoming sales: Hi-Liner stadium blankets, Celcius, hoodies, Chex Mix, and Gatorade. And the Hi-Liner Crossing has deals every day! $10 tees, $25 hoodies, and lots more!
Grades 7-12: FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) will meet Sunday evening, December 15th , from 6:00-8:00 for Bible study, carols, snacks, and skatin'. Use Door 2E and start in Room 109. We will start in Mr. Roehrich's room and then transition to the old rec center for roller skating fun! All costs are covered by generous supporters of FCA. Bring friends!
7th - 12th graders -- As you are thinking about your Semester 2 schedules, please note that there will be minimal schedule changes. Most core classes are full and it will be difficult to move schedules around. Class Change Process: 1. If you are missing periods in your schedule please stop in the CC this week and make an appointment to add your classes. 2. If you have a complete schedule but are wanting to make a change stop in the CC this week and make an appointment. not ALL request will be approved due to class numbers and other conflicts. 3. If you have an online class in your schedule next semester please make sure that you email me the classes you want to take. You will have until December 19th to make a change. Please be patient and respectful as we are doing our best to accommodate everyone. THANK YOU!
UPDATE --> Junior High Celebration / 7th & 8th grade students - Due to the weather, there is a change in plans for the JH Celebration events on Friday, December 13th. The rules stay the same (students who have C's or better, met attendance requirements, and have been in good standing behavior-wise, will be participating in the celebrations on Friday during P6 and P7), but the location is changed to various rooms at VCHS. Students will be able to sign up for the activity choices during 1st period on Friday.
Hi-Liner Activities taking place today: Boys Hockey vs Bismarck High School at Wilson Arena. JV 5:15, Varsity 7:30. Boys Wrestling at Lisbon High School at 5pm. Dismiss 2:00, Depart 2:15. Girls Wrestling at Lisbon Armory at 6pm. Dismiss 2:00, Depart 2:15. Girls Basketball vs Maple River at Barnes County Tournament at VCSU. Game time is 7:30.
