Snoball Dance Guest Form: If any 9-12th grade students plan to bring a guest to the Snoball Dance who is NOT a VCHS student, you will need to complete a guest form/permission slip for them (7-8th graders cannot bring non-VCHS guests.) This form can be found in the North Office or found in your grade level Canvas class. It is the guest's responsibility to have the form completed and signed by their principal before it is returned to VCHS. This form needs to be approved by Mr. Peterson and must be on file in the office by 4pm on Wednesday, January 28th. Also, all detentions need to be served by Thursday, January 29th in order to attend this dance.
Attention Juniors: ACT testing will be March 11th and March 18th. This is an optional test. If you are interested in taking the test, please stop by the Counseling Center and sign up for which day works best for you. The test costs $69.50 and payment is due at the time of sign up. Deadline to sign up is January 23rd.
January 26-31 is Snowball Week! Monday we will kick off snowball week with powderbuff volleyball! You can get a punch on your activity card if you attend powderbuff! Saturday will end snowball week with the dance! The hours for the dance for junior high are 6:30-8:00 and senior high 8:30-11:00. Cost for attendance if $5 a person. DECA Survey Announcement: All students in grades 9-12 are encouraged to complete a short, anonymous DECA survey posted on Canvas about financial preparedness after high school. The survey takes only a few minutes and supports a student-led DECA project. Please complete the survey by Friday. Thank you.
Class Wars sign-up sheets are in the office for Class Wars on January 30th! There are 5 games you can sign up for, and we ask you to only sign up for a maximum of 2 games! The sign-up sheets for 10th,11th, and 12th grade are in the north office. The sign-up sheets for 7th,8th, and 9th grade are in the south office. If you have any questions, please reach out to a student council member!
DECA Clothing Drive This week, DECA is holding a clothing drive! There is a discount for the Hi-Liner Crossing for anyone who brings in clothing items! 10 items - 5% off 20+ items - 10% off Please make sure items are clean and in good condition before bringing in. All items can be dropped off in the Hi-Liner Crossing any time this week! This is a great way to clean out your closet and get rid of any items that don't fit or you don't wear anymore! SATURDAY Robotics Tournament at 8:30am at VCHS. Boys Wrestling at 10am at Thief River Falls. Girls Wrestling at 11am at Lisbon High School. Girls Basketball at 3:30 vs Rugby at Devils Lake High School. Speech Varsity Meet at 8:30 at Dakota Prairie. Boys Hockey vs Hazen at Jamestown. JV 1:00 Varsity 3:15 Girls Hockey at 1pm at Bismarck.
